UPDATE: As of 6 p.m. Thursday evening, Beulah has been reunited with her owners. She was found in Dover Shores.
Beulah is a black pit bull who went missing on April 1, as she was startled by the Wrestlemania fireworks. She has been sighted multiple times since, slowly making her way northwards.
We wrote about her HERE in a roundup we did of lost pets earlier in the week. Since then, friends of Beulah have been taking to the streets trying to find her. The owners, Mary Ann and Justin Bowen, created the following “heat map” showing the different Beulah sightings since she ran away.
We received the following message from a friend of the Bowens, concerning Beulah’s past:
“Beulah was rescued from a pit bull fighting ring, when she was found in a bush with her throat slashed. The reason they’re not finding her easily is because she’s likely scared and hiding in a covered place, as most dogs would see people and seek help. they think she’s on the move at night when it’s quiet and no one is around” – Ashley Heafey
