UPDATE: Watermark recently revealed, HERE, that Ashley Nickell has left Restaurant Ash to give Parliament House’s Rainbow Cafe an overhaul before moving to New York City to work as a private chef.

Funky Monkey’s Restaurant ASH (Facebook | Website) concept will be moving to a new location in the near future.

Eddie Nickell, of FMI Restaurant Group, told Bungalower that they are looking for a new tenant for the 912 N. Mills Avenue space as they are hoping to relocate the ASH concept to somewhere bigger. The thought is that they would like to add a full-liquor lounge and have access to more parking.

The building is 900 SF and rent is $3,900 per month, with a leasing term of 48 months. See the LoopNet listing HERE.

There is no timeline for this move.

The fast-casual restaurant, named after Hell’s Kitchen alum Ashley Nickell, opened in March 13, 2016.

  1. Dreadful place…just like Funky Monkey before it. The Nickells should subject some other town to their brand of hospitality
