Educe Salon (Website) has placed as a finalist in the L’Oreal Professionnel’s Color and Style Trophy, hair competition, out of 226 submissions.
Phillip Rosado was named in the Styling and Cutting and Men’s Image Awards categories and will compete live in a style and fashion show on Sunday, June 25 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
Rosado will be accompanied by Orlando-based Couture designer, Ben Van Beusekom (Website), who is creating custom designs for the event using “unorthodox materials.”
This is the first time this event has been held in the United States and the first time an Orlando salon has placed in the competition.
The winner will compete in the Seville Spain later this year.
