According to a release from the Orange County Property Appraiser earlier today, the final damage assessment numbers from Hurricane Irma are in, and they’re nearly twice as much as the earlier estimates.

The OCPA offices estimated in September that damages could number as high as $24,866,775. That number has since increased to $51,676,838 in damages from a total of 2,873 residential properties and 128 commercial properties.
