UPDATE: The grants are currently recommended for approval by the Mayor. Commissioners will vote on Monday, December 11 at the upcoming Council Meeting on whether or not to award the grants to the below organizations (they always do).

As part of the Mayor’s Matching Grant program, the City of Orlando is awarding 11 grants, totaling $75,000 in the first cycle of 2017-2018 for projects that will be carried out within City limits.

Schools and 501(c)3 non-profit organizations are awarded grants of up to $10,000 to offer programs that engage youth in constructive activities during non-school hours. All grants must be matched dollar-for-dollar by each applicant organization.

The grants are bi-annual.
