A Master Plan request has been filed to build a three-story mixed-use development on a 1.41-acre piece of land on the corner of Magnolia and East Colonial.
The request calls for permissions to build a mixed-use development comprised of 11,900 SF +/- of ground floor commercial capped with 96,900 SF +/- of personal storage use at 107 Hillcrest Street [GMap].
The land was previously occupied by the Women’s Residential and Counseling Center, one of the few local shelters for homeless women and their children, which announced last summer that they were closing their doors after ongoing costs associated with maintaining the aging building proved to be too expensive.
The new three-story building would also include more parking and loading areas as well as a restaurant with a drive thru, according to initial paperwork filed with the Municipal Planning Board.
