SPONSORED: Craft cocktail competition meets history class in this local version of Drunk History hosted by the Orange County Regional History Center.

Local craft bars compete for bragging rights by creating tasty libations inspired by local history. Past muses have included local murder mysteries like Dolores Myerly who was killed in the San Juan Hotel in 1938 or more recently, celery. Yes, celery.

The theme for this month’s event is “Hot, Hot, Hot,” which is inspired by Central Florida summers, fireworks, campfires, and an old fire insurance company that had some risque sales tactics.

Enjoy great food, music, and three hand-crafted cocktails for $25. History Center members can get a $5 discount. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Obviously, this event is for guests aged 21 and above.

The fun begins at 6 p.m. August 23 with drink service starting at 6:30 p.m. For more details, call 407-836-7046.
