Food Network’s Andrew Zimmern is in Orlando this week, eating his way through our most popular restaurants and foodie hubs.

Andrew Zimmern (Website) is a trained chef, television personality, radio host, director, food critic, and all-around foodtrepreneur. He can be seen on programs like “Bizarre Foods,” “Man v. Food,” and “Delicious Destinations.”

The local tour follows on the heels of a much-publicized, at least locally, Twitter incident where the popular television host made light of the City Beautiful’s dining options, in response to a visiting restaurant critic’s digital cry for help.

Zimmern immediately responded when Orlando foodies cried/tweeted foul and then promptly scheduled a tour to see our scene for himself. Zimmern has been spotted at Orlando Meats, Se7enbites Bake Shop, Lombardi’s Seafood, East End Market, and Black Rooster Tacqueria.

Future stops have been kept under wraps but keep your eyes peeled for crew members having people sign waivers at the front door. Like we did yesterday at Black Rooster in the Mills 50 District.
