Professional dumpster diver, sustainability advocate, and self-described “dude making a difference,” Rob Greenfield (Website), has kicked-off 2019 with a really strict resolution.

Greenfield has made a name for himself for his efforts to call attention to wasteful food policies. His 50K+ followers on Instagram are regularly treated to videos of him bathing in rivers, growing his own food, riding a bamboo bike, and living a true paleo lifestyle in the urban jungle. All of this has been on a case-by-case basis in the efforts of education.

The Orlando resident is turning it up to 11 with a pledge to eat only food that he has grown and foraged for the rest of 2019.

We first wrote about Greenfield HERE when he went on a ridealong with City of Orlando’s Director of Sustainability and savior of drowning women Chris Castro, to liberate food from dumpsters across the City Beautiful that was still edible.

He’s also ridden across the country, twice, on the aforementioned bamboo bicycle, and traveled from Brazil to Panama with absolutely no money which was chronicled by Discovery Channel.

Follow Greenfield on his socials to stay up-to-date with his “Food Freedom” challenge.
