Based on a Paul Brinkmann tip back in May 2018, we told you about a new bar concept opening next to Southern Nights in the Milk District, spearheaded by the same owners. We now can tell you the name and an estimated opening date.
The District Dive (Facebook) is being advertised as a new LGBTQ dive bar with games like billiards, darts, and shuffleboard (which you can see incorporated into the logo below).
The District Dive, located at 375 S. Bumby Avenue [GMap], is expected to open by summer 2019.
Editor’s Note: Southern Craft, an LGTBQ craft beer and cocktail venue in the same complex, was opened by the same owners back in September 2017.
