The City of Orlando has created a new Orlando Community Gardens Council to help share information for best practices, membership policies, and increasing a “… feeling of togetherness in gardening,” according to a recent release from City Hall.

The new council will meet on quarterly basis at a different community garden each quarter, featuring guest speakers. They are free and open to anyone to attend.

The first Orlando Community Garden Council meeting will take place at the Lake Eola Heights Community Gardens on March 20 from 6-7:30 p.m., located at 406 E. Amelia Street [GMap].
