Orange County is searching for a new Chief Sustainability Officer to develop and coordinate plans for the County’s sustainability programs.

The full-time position is responsible for developing and coordinating plans and strategies for the program including coordinating with internal departments, public and private agencies to implement the plan with local agencies, outreach, and more.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from an eccredited university in environmental science, environmental management, environmental engineering, urban planning, and/or other related fields and five years of sustainability related experience.

A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Salary ranges from $94,557-120,000 based on qualifications.
