Lyft has partnered with Orlando’s The Keri Anne DeMott Foundation (Website), a local non-profit dedicated to ending drunk, distracted, and impaired driving for a St. Patrick’s Day fundraising initiative.

In an effort to encourage all riders to make smart decisions after whooping it up this St. Patrick’s Day, Lyft will donate $1 to The Keri Anne DeMott Foundation for every Lyft ride taken in a green-colored vehicle around Orlando.

The Keri Anne DeMott Foundation was started by the DeMott family after the 20-year-old University of Central Florida student was killed by a multiple DUI offender.
