Enzian Theater validates our love for their innovative programming once again by announcing the screening of the third of the cult favorite Mad Max movies, “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome” on Tuesday, May 28.

The film, which features a young Mel Gibson who finds his way into a post-apocalyptic, pig shit-fueled town ruled over by a fabulously coifed Tina Turner who don’t need another hero. Hilarity ensues and Gibson considers a life as a gladiator before updating his LinkedIn to “seeking employment” and accepting a gig as a face-punching shepherd for a flock of feral desert children.

The film is 107 minutes of Australian scene-chewing goodness and is rated PG-13.

Tickets are $9 and available HERE for purchase.
