A new Mexican concept called Felipe Rodriguez Tequila House (Facebook | Website) is scheduled to open in the former Thornton Park Graffiti Junktion space located at 900 E. Washington Street [GMap] this weekend.

A grand opening will be held over the next three days; 3 p.m. Friday, May 3, 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, and 11 am. Sunday, May 5. Cinco de Mayo will feature an all-day buffet.

The opening menu, according to the website, will include specialty nachos, esquites, shrimp ceviche, rock shrimp tostadas, an assortment of hard or soft corn tacos, and a variety of tequilas.

No other details have been released at this time and we have reached out for more information.

Editor’s Note: Graffiti Junktion moved out of the building in 2017 and into the former home of Barbara Poma’s Wildside Bar and Grille just up the street. Truck Stop, then moved into the Graffiti Junktion space at 900 E. Washington Street in January 2018 closed in August of the same year. More on that HERE.
