POSSIBLE WINDOW ART RENDERING

The Downtown Orlando Partnership (Website) launched a new downtown-focused non-profit this past March called The Avrio Foundation (Website), the mission of which is to “leverage the passion and support of the business community to help shape the future of Downtown Orlando.”

The Avrio Foundation has been hard at work with Bungalower’s editor, Brendan O’Connor, to take advantage of a sudden opportunity they had to inject some public art into the Central Business District, including selfie-friendly window art, traditional murals, and funky urban interventions.

O’Connor is curating a list of local artists and matching them with local businesses and property owners that are vetted and invited to participate via the Partnership.

The team will be hosting an event on July 25 at the Citrus Club to reveal a lineup of possible art projects that attendees will have the opportunity to vote on, prioritize, and fund while enjoying heavy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, live music, a photo booth, silent auction, and more.

The event will run from 5:30-8 p.m.

Tickets are $75 and can be purchased HERE.
