Main Street shuts down Edgewater for holiday street party

-

The College Park Main Street (Website) will host its annual Holiday on the Drive event on Thursday, December 12, which will result in the closing of Edgewater Drive from noon to 10 p.m. that day.

The street will be closed between Clayton and Smith Streets for the free community event that features train rides, bungee jumping, rock climbing, batting cages and a long list of activities that just scream “holiday!”

Yes, Santa will be there. Probably in a climbing harness though.

Local shops along the corridor will be open during the festival as well as local artisans peppered throughout the party.
