SPONSORED: The City of Orlando has just approved a program proposed by the Community Redevelopment Agency (Website) that would temporarily fund parking costs in the downtown area to encourage consumer spending and increase visitation to downtown businesses.

The program will provide up to two hours of free parking at any metered on-street parking spots within the Central Business District with the code “ParkDTO.” To redeem, residents and visitors will need to secure their parking spot using the ParkMobile app (Website).

Parking validation stickers will also be provided by eligible businesses for the following City of Orlando parking garages:

  • Central Boulevard Garage, 53 W. Central Boulevard [GMap]
  • 55 West Garage, 60 W. Pine Street [GMap]
  • Library Garage, 112 E. Central Boulevard [GMap]

Eligible businesses include any downtown retail, restaurant, or consumer-based business with a valid City of Orlando Business Tax Receipt. General office buildings, including, but not limited to, professional services and specialized services are not eligible for the program. To prove your eligibility, click HERE and fill out the online form.

Promotion codes and validation stickers are valid seven-days-a-week and 24-hours a day, including major holidays. Any amount owed in excess of the validated time will be the responsibility of the customer.
