The owners of Belicoso Cigars and Cafe (Facebook | Website) have announced that they will be closing their Mills 50 restaurant as early as this weekend.
The combination cigar shop/barbecue restaurant opened in Mills Park in December 2019 with quite a bit of fanfare. Food truck favorites, Smoke and Donuts (Facebook | Website) operated the kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they even managed to operate the rooftop bar area.
The owners announced late on Thursday, August 13 that they would be closing the business at 10 p.m. Saturday, August 15, after they were unable to renegotiate a lease agreement with their landlord. They will be running specials on all cigars, bottled liquors, and any of the furniture and equipment onsite through the end of the week.
