We told you HERE in April 2020 that Winter Park Biscuit Company (Facebook | Website) would be opening a restaurant in East End Market and we are happy to say that they are almost ready to open.

The vegan deli concept has taken over the former home of Bird of Paradise at the front of the Audubon Park food hub and has completely renovated the stall into a flashy new space where they will be serving their non-meat takes on chicken and biscuit sandwiches, crab cake sandwiches, and more. All animal-free.

The shop just passed their final inspection with the City this morning and co-owners Mary Westfall and hubby Day to Remember guitarist Neil Westfall invited Bungalower to try out the food prior to their soft-opening the week before Thanksgiving. A grand opening is scheduled for early December.

During the soft open, the restaurant will be serving a limited menu of fresh-baked biscuits, “chicken” sandwiches, and “burgers.”

New to the team is Peter Summers, a former sous-chef from Luma on Park which closed in September. Summers is expected to temporarily take the reigns in January when the Westfalls welcome their first baby to the world and Mary is on leave.
