KOS (Facebook | Website), short for the Norwegian “Koselig,” is a new coffee shop in Winter Park that opened across from Rollins College this month and it offers something a little bit more than the average java shop.

KOS donates 10 percent of its profits to charities marked on their products. They offer goods that are linked to organizations that support community development, education, and neighborhood revitalization abroad and at home, including Lift Orlando, New Image Youth Center, and Support Our Scholars.

KOS offers a la cart and subscription-based wine services, single-origin coffees, hand-poured soy candles, artisan soaps, and more. They are located at 129 W. Fairbanks Avenue [GMap].
