Itsa Chicken (Instagram | Website) has just opened its new chicken window in the Milk District.
We broke the news HERE in August that the popular fried chicken concept had secured a new brick-and-mortar space at longtime Milk District watering hole, Whiskey Lou’s, located at 121 N. Bumby Avenue [GMap].
The little chicken restaurant will be serving tasty food out of a tiny service window facing Bumby Avenue, next to an inviting red door and a fancy new mural sporting cow patterns, milk cartons, and possibly cannibalistic chickens, with a menu of sandwiches, chicken, sides, and refreshments.
The soft-opening was Tuesday, October 19, from 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. and it looks as if those are the hours that will continue for the foreseeable future.
Whiskey Lou’s recently went smoke-free and added an outdoor patio this past September.
