Pig Floyd’s (Instagram | Website) will be opening a second location of its “Urban Barbakoa” concept in Winter Park – not to be confused with the Pigzza concept coming to Mills 50.
The new restaurant will be taking over the former home of Bubbalou’s Bodacious Bar-B-Que (Facebook | Website) in Winter Park, at 1471 Lee Road [GMap], and will offer the same menu as the original Mills 50 location along with some items from the old Bubbalou’s menu as a tribute to the former owner, Sam Meiner.
The location has a drive-thru.
Pig Floyd’s founder, Thomas Ward, told Bungalower that he expects the renovations to be complete in early 2022 with an opening sometime in spring of that year.
The Winter Park location of Bubbalou’s closed in September 2021.
