The City of Orlando will award 16 grants totaling $88,000 in the first cycle of its Mayor’s Matching Grant Program to support local schools and non-profit organizations, in January 2022.

Qualifying schools and organizations can apply for matching grants of up to $10,000 and are encouraged to partner with neighborhood organizations and community groups to spread that municipal money-love even further.

This is a biannual award.

This cycle’s winners include:

  • Capoeira for Tomorrow, Inc. – $4,500
  • Central Florida Chapter National Black MBA Association, Inc. – $2,500
  • Collegiate Pathways, Inc. dba Tech Sassy Girlz – $7,000
  • Commercial Real Estate Women Foundation – $4,000
  • Drawchange – $5,000
  • Hebni Nutrition – $7,000
  • I.S. Hankins – F.A. Johnson Education Foundation, Inc. – $5,000
  • Love Our Youth, Inc. – $8,000
  • Lutheran Counseling Services – $7,000
  • Millennia Gardens Elementary School – $5,000
  • Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra – $7,000
  • Orlando Repertory Theatre – $4,000
  • Rebecca’s Garden of Hope – $8,000
  • Rich and Bespoke, Inc. – $5,000
  • The LGBTQ+ Center Orlando, Inc.- $2,000
  • Zion Farms and Market, Inc. – $7,000
