The City of Orlando will award 16 grants totaling $88,000 in the first cycle of its Mayor’s Matching Grant Program to support local schools and non-profit organizations, in January 2022.
Qualifying schools and organizations can apply for matching grants of up to $10,000 and are encouraged to partner with neighborhood organizations and community groups to spread that municipal money-love even further.
This is a biannual award.
This cycle’s winners include:
- Capoeira for Tomorrow, Inc. – $4,500
- Central Florida Chapter National Black MBA Association, Inc. – $2,500
- Collegiate Pathways, Inc. dba Tech Sassy Girlz – $7,000
- Commercial Real Estate Women Foundation – $4,000
- Drawchange – $5,000
- Hebni Nutrition – $7,000
- I.S. Hankins – F.A. Johnson Education Foundation, Inc. – $5,000
- Love Our Youth, Inc. – $8,000
- Lutheran Counseling Services – $7,000
- Millennia Gardens Elementary School – $5,000
- Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra – $7,000
- Orlando Repertory Theatre – $4,000
- Rebecca’s Garden of Hope – $8,000
- Rich and Bespoke, Inc. – $5,000
- The LGBTQ+ Center Orlando, Inc.- $2,000
- Zion Farms and Market, Inc. – $7,000
