Mayor Dyer announced on Friday, January 21 that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
The mayor shared on Twitter that both he and his wife are both vaccinated and boosted and have both presented as asymptomatic, which you can read below. Dyer was also forced to self-isolate in November 2020 when he was (possibly) exposed to the virus.
Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings has been working remotely since late last week when he announced that he had also tested positive for the virus.
