The City District Main Street has officially launched a search for its new executive director.

The downtown-focused Main Street program is looking to hire a new leader to work with its board of directors as a liaison to the City of Orlando and its member businesses. They will be responsible to promote local development, working with dues-paying members to promote the neighborhood, and cultivating new and stronger relationships with downtown businesses.

They are also responsible for identifying and securing grants, sponsorships, and new members in an ongoing basis and hosting regular public events that align with the program’s mission.

The salary range is $55,000-$65,000 a year depending on qualifications and experience and bonuses are possible as well.

The deadline to apply is Monday, April, 25. Applicants can submit their resume and a brief cover letter to [email protected] with the subject line including their first and last name in addition to “City District Executive Director.”

The City District board of directors asked their previous director to resign earlier in the month. More on that HERE.
