Family-owned Team Market Group is opening another new concept in the Mills 50 neighborhood and this one is all about fire and meat.
The new Eastwood (Instagram) concept will be a fire-centric restaurant inspired by open flames, grills, and smoke. The 3,300 SF restaurant, led by Team Market Group’s lead culinary brain and executive chef, Nick Grecco, will be located in the former Kittinger Printing building at 1024 N. Mills Avenue [GMap], directly across the street from the soon-to-open Plantees and Will’s Pub.
While the food program is still being carved out, Grecco told Bungalower that it’ll feature grilled foods on shareable portions all cooked with fire – not unlike Swedish sensation chef Niklas Ekstedt or Danish chef Nicolai Tram (Instagram) who hosted a foodie event in Lake Nona’s Boxi Park back in February 2020. The kitchen will even feature a custom-built wood-burning grill and smoker.
The design is still being formalized and the concept is in the early stages of development with no real timeline at the time of this post.
