The City of Orlando will host a special ceremony to honor local veterans on Friday, May 27th, at Greenwood Cemetery.

The community is invited to join District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan and Mayor Dyer’s Veterans Advisory Council members to honor and remember veterans who lost their lives in service to the American government.

The ceremony will feature an address by Marine Corps veteran Allie Braswell, who serves as Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army and will take place at 6:30 p.m.

Greenwood Cemetery is located at 1603 Greenwood Street [GMap].
