The Milk District Main Street (Instagram | Website) is hosting a special neighborhood cleanup on Saturday, June 11 from 9-11 a.m. in honor of UN World Environment Day.
The event, which was postponed from the original date of June 5 due to weather concerns, kicks off at 9 a.m. near MX Taco, where volunteers can sign in and pick up their supplies, provided by Keep Orlando Beautiful, for the morning before heading out in teams to clean up graffiti and pick up discarded trash, cigarette butts, microplastics, and other rubbish before it washes into our local waterways.
All volunteers will be rewarded with a free taco and a drink at the end of the event.
