Orlando Pride shared last week that it had placed coach Amanda Cromwell and first assistant coach, Sam Greene, on temporary leave.
The move placed the two on leave effective immediately following the results of an investigation into some unnamed incident at the club. The Pride shared the following statement on its Instagram page.
No other details around the investigation had been shared at the time of this post, though according to The Athletic, the move was the result of an investigation into an “…alleged retaliation in violation of the NWSL Policy to Prevent and Eliminate Workplace Discrimination, Harassment, and Bullying.”
Assistant coach Seb Hines has been named as the interim coach for the Pride until further notice.
