Plans filed with the City of Orlando include a new outdoor beer garden-like set-up where they’ve currently erected a temporary dining area, that popped-up during the pandemic when guests were encouraged to be outside, rather than in a formal dining room.
The original Mediterranean Revival-style building was erected in 1927 and originally occupied y a corner market called Craig’s Grocery, named after former owner Lillian Craig who moved here from Maine following the death of her husband with her daughter, Beatrice,
The new open pavilion would feature more formal covered seating options than what currently exists in the building’s parking lot and would be built by local design/build firm, Interstruct Inc. (Instagram | Website).
A project timeline is not public at this time.
