Orlando Health recently announced plans to build a new neurosciences institute that will serve patients throughout the southeastern United States.

The three-story, 45,000 SF medical office building will be the new home of Orlando Health neuroscience services including neurosurgery, neurology, neurodiagnostics, interventional pain, and the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute Spine Care Center.

“Construction of the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute is just one of many ways that we are expanding to meet the growing healthcare needs of Florida and the southeast region of the United States. We’re looking forward to the positive impact this new facility will have on our current and future patients.”

– DAVID STRONG, PRESIDENT AND CEO OF ORLANDO HEALTH

The Institute will be located at 86 W. Underwood Street [GMap], on Orlando Health’s downtown campus, along with Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute, the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute, the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute – phase one of which is scheduled to open spring 2023 – and the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. Construction of the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute is slated to begin following demolition and clearing of the site this coming fall.

The Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute is anticipated to open in late 2023.
