Popular downtown venue, Neon Beach (Facebook), which opened in the former home of Fuzzy’s Taco space back in October 2020, is going through some rebranding and has a new name.

The concept, which is owned by Tin and Taco’s Rob Bair (who also just opened hit Detroit pizza restaurant SoDo Square), will be called Pizza Burger Chicken (Website). Which were hoping was some sort of turducken creation, but is in fact, a reference to everything they’ll be serving there.

“We’re just going to shake it up a bit with a mix of all of my concepts and focus on the top sellers across the board, all under one roof. It’s very tailored to what the people want.”

– ROB BAIR, OWNER

The restaurant will be closed all next week but still open for “Beach Brunch” on Saturday and Sunday. A soft-open is currently scheduled for August 8 with a grand opening taking place on August 12.

Pizza Burger Chicken, formerly known as Neon Beach, is located at 131 N. Orange Avenue [GMap]
