Will’s Pub in the Mills 50 District will be hosting a special tribute concert to some of the best bands of the “Butt Rock” genre on Saturday, August 13 at 8 p.m.

Local bands like reed, Felicity, and The High Ground will take to stage to (well, “pay tribute” is probably not the best way to describe it) channel some of the most popular “Butt Rock” musicians like Godsmack, Nickelback, and Three Days Grace.

The term “Nothing Butt Rock” was inspired by ’90s rock stations that used to run ads that said “Rock. Nothing but Rock” which was quickly bastardized by listeners to “Nothing Butt Rock” instead to ridicule mainstream rock bands that were super popular at the time. Even though you wouldn’t admit to liking them to your friends.

Tickets to the show are $15 in advance or $20 at the door and are available HERE.
