Framework Coffee (Instagram | Facebook), a longtime pop-up and mobile coffee purveyor, has found a permanent home in the former storefront of Java J’s at 1201 N. Mills Avenue [GMap] in the Mills 50 District.

The announcement comes just a few weeks after Framework was forced to move its coffee trailer from its ongoing residency at the lot to the immediate north of Will’s Pub to prep the site for the construction of Piggza, which we’ve told you about previously HERE.

Framework Craft Coffee House will feature a retail section with goods by local makers and crafters, and vegan and non-vegan pastry options. A spokesperson for the shop also told Bungalower that they are going to be making it much brighter inside than how it was kept with the previous owner.

“We’re gonna work really hard on the lighting as that was the number one thing everyone has mentioned. How dim it was.”

Framework’s new shop is expected to be open by early October, according to a recent post on Instagram, which you can read in full below. The truck, which is currently being refreshed, will continue to be used at events and shindigs around Orlando.

Java J’s opened for business back in September 2020.
