Orange County Animal Services (Website) is giving away several tons of free pet food at the South Econ Recreation Center on Sunday, September 11 starting at 9 a.m.
The drive-thru event will allow attendees to load up on two bags of Instinct-brand pet food or cases of wet or dried food, that were donated to the shelter. According to a press release 2,727 pets were surrendered to the county between January 1 and August 31 of this year because their owners were unable to afford to keep them.
