Magic Mall (Website), a retail hub on the western edge of our downtown coverage area, is looking to host a regular outdoor market and has filed paperwork with the City of Orlando for a Conditional Use Permit.
The permit, if granted would allow the planned market to take place in the eastern section of the parking lot, which faces Colonial Drive. The market would host roughly 50 outdoor vendors, featuring a series of 10×10 tent spaces for each vendor, who would be required to bring their own tables and chairs.
The proposed market times are 9 a.m.-2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
The project is tentatively scheduled to be discussed at the upcoming Municipal Planning Board on December 20. We’ve reached out to Magic Mall for more information but had not heard back at the time of this post.
