The tenth annual Dragon Parade is scheduled for Sunday, February 5 at 11 a.m. in the Mills 50 District, and the route will start at the intersection of Lake Highland Drive and Mills Avenue before making its way along Thornton Avenue to Colonial Drive.
The annual event is a major tradition in the neighborhood and recognizes the influence and unity of the area’s immigrants from China, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam, as well as other Asian countries that call Orlando home.
Asia Trend Magazine is partnering with Mills 50 Main Street, R.E.A.C.H. (Recognizing, Experiencing Asian Cultural Heritage), and Y.E.S.S. (Youth Enrichment and Senior Services) to host this year’s event.
