Dr. Phillips Charities, the group behind the $700 million Packing District development in the Fairvilla neighborhood just west of College Park, has just announced the addition of a new climbing and fitness gym.
The new 45,000 SF gym will be the first Central Florida location of Tennessee-based High Point Climbing and Fitness (Website) and will feature a 55-foot-tall rope climbing area, a competition speed wall, a large bouldering and training area, and a 4,000 SF Kid Zone specifically for children.
The facility will also have a fitness area with strength and aerobic machines, a yoga studio, locker rooms with showers, and a pro shop. It will also have a 9,000 SF dog spa and hotel on the property as well.
The new facility is expected to open by the spring of 2024. The exact location in the Packing District has not been made public.
The 15,000 SF Blue Swan Boulders (Facebook | Website) opened in August 2020 adjacent to Creative Village in the Parramore neighborhood.
