Camping World Stadium has just announced a new title sponsor for its 34-year-old annual college bowl game.

The three-year exclusive reign of Cheez-It Bowl is over. Long live the Pop-Tarts Bowl. The snack company has signed a multi-year deal set to kick off with this year’s game on Thursday, December 28. This is the first time that Pop-Tarts has sponsored a college football bowl game, and it will feature teams from the ACC and Big 12 conferences.

“We’re ecstatic to be the new title sponsor of the Pop-Tarts Bowl with our partners at Florida Citrus Sports and cannot wait to host Crazy Good experiences for fans and players alike in Orlando, and for those joining us from home.”

– HEIDI RAY, SENIOR DIRECTOR OF MARKETING, POP-TARTS

However, Cheez-It will still remain the title sponsor of the Citrus Bowl this year, with the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl scheduled to take place on Monday, January 1.

Both games are sponsored by Florida Citrus Sports. Last year’s game featured Florida State versus Oklahoma and drew a crowd of over 61,000 people to the stadium and it’s estimated that over 5 million people watched from their homes.

  1. Sorry, the only way this can be acceptable, is if it’s the “Cherry Pop-Tarts” Bowl
