This June marks 55 years in business for Beefy King Restaurant (Facebook | Instagram) in the Milk District and the popular time capsule/beef palace will be hosting a party on June 17 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
In recognition of the anniversary, Beefy King will be selling a limited edition, 55th Anniversary tie-dye shirt, starting on June 17th. They will also have cake and cookies available for purchase along with the regular menu of steamed meat sandwiches and tasty tots. The drive-thru will be closed on the day of the anniversary so it can be used as a t-shirt sales area.
The local restaurant, which is located at 424 N. Bumby Avenue [GMap], is run by self-titled “third-generation Beefy Princess” Shannon Woodrow and her husband James.
