ACTUAL BUS DRIVER NOT PICTURED

A LYMMO bus driver for the LYNX bus line lost control of their vehicle in the late afternoon of Monday, June 6.

The driver, whose name has not been released, told Orlando Police that their foot got caught on the gas pedal, and they were unable to dislodge it, resulting in them losing control and crashing into a nearby bus station, located outside of the Orange County Courthouse.

Orlando Police told Bungalower that a number of riders had to be evacuated from the bus as a precaution but that no injuries had been reported. Though at the time, they also told us no property damage had been reported either, though it’s clear to see in the video below, that the station has certainly seen better days.

A representative of LYNX told us that “Everyone was ok.”

LYMMO is a free bus transit circulator in downtown Orlando’s Central Business District.
