The Ravenous Pig (Instagram | Website) in Winter Park will be getting a bit of a facelift this summer with the help of South Florida design firm, Anna Woodman Interior Design and Blankenship Architects.

The Michelin-recognized restaurant, which opened in 2007 further up on Orange Avenue in Winter Park from where it is now on Fairbanks Avenue, is known for serving high-end Southern-inspired dishes alongside its more casual sister concept and brewery neighbor, Ravenous Pig Brewing (Instagram) and its adjacent beer garden.

Anna Woodman Design, which was responsible for the design in the original restaurant, will be redoing the restaurant this summer and repainting the interior with a palette of navy blue, merlot red, and coppers with cream and gold accents.

According to a release we received over the weekend, the new design will feature an, “… open view of the kitchen and an unexpected feature display of cutlery. As they venture into the main dining room, guests will find modern art with colorful characters alongside mementos that pay homage to the history of The Ravenous Pig, inviting guests to learn more about the now iconic restaurant’s origins in Central Florida.”

The beer garden will remain mostly untouched though it will be getting two new (very welcome) bathrooms.

The redesign is set to begin this summer and is expected to be completed by early fall 2023.

The Ravenous Pig is located at 565 W. Fairbanks Avenue [GMap].
