UPDATE: According to Motorworks management, there was a piping issue that caused significant damage to the brewery’s drywall and flooring. They still hope to be open by the weekend but will be hosting a staff/tap takeover at Game Room Social Club, located at 55 N. Orange Avenue [GMap] this Thursday which will feature trivia with Curtis Earth at 7 p.m.
Downtown Orlando’s only brewery, Motorworks Brewing (Facebook | Website), was indeed forced to temporarily close last month.
We reached out to brewery management to see what those “unforeseen” circumstances may have been but didn’t get anything specific, with management simply saying, “We are hoping to be open by next weekend it will depend upon a number of factors.”
The Bradenton-based brewery shared the following statement on social media.
Motorworks Brewing opened in September 2020 at 131 N. Orange Avenue [GMap].
