Pop phenomenon Taylor Swift is a source of inspiration for millions of people around the world, including two local restaurants that are releasing some Swift-inspired items this week in honor of her new album, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).

The album is the third re-recorded album by Swift, following Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version) and features collabs with Fall Out Boy and Hayley Williams.

According to a report by Orlando Sentinel‘s intrepid Amy Drew Thompson, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream (Instagram | Website) will be releasing a special Taylor’s Chai Cookie ice cream, inspired by the new album, using chai spices and a nutmeg ice cream. The flavor is based on a recipe Swift shared, randomly, on Tumblr that’s based on another recipe by Joy the Baker.

The ice cream will be available for one day only, July 7.

Tactical Brewing (Instagram) will also be releasing its own “tribute” to Taylor Swift on July 7, a new “Zwifties” sour beer. The special sour was made with lemon, calamansi, rhubarb, lavender, and butterfly pea and is gluten-free. The label was created by the brewery’s regular resident artist, Schiani “Sleds” Ledo (Instagram).

The Baldwin Park-based brewery will be hosting Taylor Swift Trivia at 7 p.m. and Cholo Dogs (Instagram) will be there serving BOGO weens from 5:30-9 p.m.
