McRae Art Studios (Website) will be bringing back its popular 8×10 Sale event on Wednesday, August 10.
The one-hour event will feature original artworks from a curated list of professional working artists in the Central Florida region, with over 100 works available for purchase for $100-$200 apiece. The sale will feature unframed paintings, drawings, and original photographs, all measuring eight inches by ten inches, as well as sculptures and ceramics up to 10 inches.
Flamingo Framing will be offering framing services onsite and all proceeds from the sales of the artworks will go towards the collective and its studio in Parramore.
The event will start at 6:30 p.m. when the doors open for buyers to preview the works before sales start at 7 p.m. The sale will end promptly at 8 p.m. Admission is free and refreshments will be available.
The McRae Art Studios building is located at 1000 Arlington Street [GMap] and is home to houses working studios for 22 independent artists and is the oldest and largest artist collective in the region.
