The City of Orlando has recently announced that it will host the U.S. Olympic Team trials for the nation’s elite male and female long-distance runners, for a chance to win a spot with Tea USA at the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.
the event will be hosted on Saturday, February 3, in collaboration with Orange County, Track Shack Events, the Greater Orlando Sports Commission, USA Track and Field and the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee
The course is expected to run through the Milk District, South Eola, and downtown Orlando along a 2.2-mile loop and three eight-mile loops, and will be shown live on NBC. There will also be designated viewing areas along the route for spectators to watch the marathon, starting at noon and ending at 4 p.m.
