A dog park bar that we first told you about HERE in June 2020 is finally ready to break ground in Ivanhoe Village.

BarkHaven Dog Park Bar (Facebook | Instagram) will host a groundbreaking ceremony at their new digs at 724 Brookhaven Drive [GMap] at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, a former industrial warehouse. The new venue will feature a large secure area with room for off-leash play, a dog spa and grooming space, remote workstations, and have direct access to the Orlando Urban Trail.

Once it’s open, BarkHaven will also feature a resident food truck, coffee service, and a full bar.

BarkHaven is expected to open in early 2024.

  1. Why has it taken so long for them break ground? Was it a code issue, it seems that the city of Orlando takes forever compared to other cities to allow business to open. Was wondering if this was the case here.
