Two murals in the Mills 50 Main Street were recently tagged by vandals according to a recent post on social media via city commissioner Patty Sheehan.

Two murals located across Mills Avenue from each other at The Center Orlando and the Zebra Youth facilities, both high profile LGBTQ+ organizations, had murals on the sides of their buildings graffitied with phrases like ,”Gay is not ok,” and “Stop the lies,” and Nazi symbols by unknown suspects.

Sheehan and a group of volunteers, along with one of the original artists, repainted the murals on Saturday and cleaned up the graffiti themselves, shortly after it was discovered and documented.

Orlando Police is currently reviewing security footage and is investigating the crime. Please reach out if you have any information.
