The Orlando Urban Film Festival (Facebook Website) will take place on Thursday, August 31-August 2 at the CMX Cinemas Plaza Cafe in downtown Orlando.

The festival, which is in its 10th year, focuses on urban music and films and features a number of film premieres, screenings, parties, and networking opportunities, including:

  • 5 p.m. Thursday, August 31 – Opening Night Ceremony at CMX Cinemas – featuring celebrity honorees and guests, a live performance by Adam Emil of Color Me Bad, and a screening of OUFF movie selections.
  • 5 p.m. Friday, September 1 – Mix and Mingle with Directors – Film screenings and meet and greets with OUFF selected directors.
  • 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, September 2 – Screening of OUFF movies at CMX.
  • 4-7:30 p.m. Saturday, September 2 – OUFF 2023 Awards Ceremony at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
